Hi my name is Andrea and this is my 6yr old dog Blade. Last year I took Blade to the vets as he had a little lump on the back of his leg. The vet thought it was just a bee sting. A few months later the lump reappeared and again I took him to the vets and was told it was most probably a fatty lump. Biopsys were taken and it turned out to be a mass tumour. Blade was then referred to a specialist vet as the tumour needed removing with 3cm clear perimeters. This was then done and had to have a blast of chemo on the cells round the wound. Unfortunately the graft did not take and infection set in. The only option was to have his leg amputated. I have insurance for 10000 which has all gone but Blade still needs Chemotheraphy to make sure all the cancer is gone. I cannot afford this and im pleading for anyone who is an aminal lover to keep my poor baby with me as hes been through so much already. He's such a wonderful dog he has so much love to give.
