Hello,

My name is Martyna this fundraising is to fight against my stomach cancer using alternative and traditional medicine.
I am 37 years old and live with my family in the UK, son who is fourteen, two and half year old daughter and my partner.
7 months ago ,I was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer called Adenocarcinoma which has spread to the peritoneum ,intestines and ovaries.
Over last the 7 months I have been through a long journey to explore treatments options as the NHS offered me 8 chemotherapy drips as the only treatment available.
Unfortunatly I haven't qualified for immunotherapy treatment which is in the stage of trial at the momement ,this type of cancer does not cover the study requirements.

I have always had ‘ a let’s do it' attitude, so I accepted chemotherapy treatment, which came as a massive shock to the system.
And at first I could not imagine taking the drugs , but quickly understood what it tasted like and that without it there are less chances to live.
No words can describe the feeling when you not able to sleep for two days because of horrific pain ,don't let you to ,but you still have to go through it ,so that the treatment has a chance to work.

My treatment has not worked even after three chemotherapy drips CT scan showed no improvment.

Why I believe I can still go through it?

It is harder to go through it if people around you do not believe as we are reflection of our self in the eyes of others.

For those of you that don't know me ,I am a Beauty Therapist, and the last eight year’s I have met and treated some amazing people who have given me great pleasure and satisfaction that drives me.

I do not work at the moment and hugly miss my work ,but luckily over the years I have achieved a great place that I can call home and have gotten a space to enjoy these very precious moments with my family when I’m not in pain.
At my profession you have to be a good listener and ever so sensitive for needs and feelings of others ,over the years many of my clients would share there families stories ,worries and concerns.
Being a young person I never would of expected so many of these clients problems would be involving cancer.

Because of this,I have always naturally had a massive fear about cancer and as it was ,I hoped it would never happen to my family ,but sadly it has and unfortunately in the most dramatic way.

I don’t try to lose myself in it all and most of the time I cope well but would not be me if I would not do things right ,so here we are onto the next stage ,with all the kind donation £6.365 pounds gathered on the previouse Gofundme

I have managed to go to a German clinic but only for four days instead of two weeks. Unfortunately this clinic was too expensive therefore I could not afford it.

I have been at the Polish clinic to help me with natural medicines and I manage to start eating again ,unfortunately it has not stopped the spread of the disease.

I have managed to go trough five chemotherapy treatments with the help of alternative drugs taken in the Polish clinic.

I have undergone targeted test called metavectum ( cost 2400 euro ) to avoid taking destroying chemotherapy blind.
Tests have indicated ranges of chemotherapy and alternative drugs that my cancer is sensitive to ,but it's only valid for month or two from date the test been performed, as cancers do mutate and change their make up.

I have shared this document with the NHS oncoloygy team and their decision is to keep up the current chemo drugs ,I am unfortunately already on that drug that doesn’t work ,but they will kindly add one type of tablet as metavectum test showed that my cancer is hormone sensitive ,but that it is not going to provide enough strength to fight it.
Currently in the NHS everybody will be provided with what's in the program.It has nothing to with the present situation of COVID -19 this is how it has always been!

So now I have to pay out of my own pocket for these medications ,time is running out and the costs are five - seven thousand euros per month.
Absolutley crazy to ask you again for donations in this difficult time but it is my last chance and I have to try and reach out to you all.
I have made a long journey to get where I am and I have to do it , so if you have even a few pennies you could spare ,no amount is too small.
I would be hugely grateful as well as sharing this post.
In this situation it is a matter of days, or weeks if I gather the money for this months treatment.
