In Memory of Simon Kosciow
I am taking on 15,000 steps a day this August to help beat Motor Neurone Disease and in memory of my late husband Simon Kosciow.
Simon had an initial diagnosis on 13th October 2023. He didn’t get the care plan and support that was needed and sadly died two months later on 16th December 2023. I want to support other families faced with this horrific disease and hope that your experience wasn’t what Simon endured. He deserved better and we live with the trauma of not being able to get him support in a frightening and heartbreaking end of life to a previously strong and fun loving character.
Simon loved to walk and this is the perfect challenge to give me the time to spend 2 hours virtually hand in hand with my beloved husband.
As a family traumatised by MND we want to do whatever we can to stop the horror of this disease.
Right now, around 5,000 people in the UK are living with MND and every step I take is for them. Can you support me? Just £12 could provide an information pack for a newly diagnosed person with MND.Your donation could help bring us a step closer to a world free from MND. Thank you!
