My name is Steve Orlowski and I am a retired real estate appraiser. I was accused of undervaluing a property because of racism by Donald and Solonge Robinson.
The accusation was scurrilous and malicious. The Robinsons filed complaints with HUD and the State of Illinois. I was investigated by HUD and prosecuted by the State of Illinois. All while undergoing treatment for cancer. After becoming disabled during the treatment and unable to work, my attorney informed the State of Illinois. They ignored my plea to drop the case and insisted on continuing their viscious prosecution. Having no strength to continue, I agreed to surrender my appraisal license to the State of Illinois.
On April 20, 2026, I was informed by HUD that they dismissed the charges against me. They considered the accusations to be baseless and slanderous.
Please consider helping me clear my name. I am looking to fund a defamation lawsuit against the Robinsons and the members of the Illinois Appraisal Board who persecuted me.
