January brought unfavorable news to Chase and his family as it was discovered, in Chase's 9 short years of life, he would be up for yet a second battle of Leukemia as they were told he has had a relapse. Unfortuately, this time around the Leukemia was found in his CSN "Central Nervous System." The fight is about to get down and dirty with Chase undergoing Chemotherapy and soon to be added Radiation 5 days a week for over a month to help his body rid this awful disease. Chase is a 9 year old boy that is a creative, funny, one of a kind kid that makes even the dullest of days brighter. He is a beloved friend to many as are his parents, Tara Thole and Mike Walters.
This is the second time now Chase and his family are putting on their warrior gear and readying themselves for a long and arduous battle. With that battle come great expenses and bills that have already begun to pile up. Tara is small business owner of not one but two businesses that she will no longer be able to maintain at full functioning operation and Mike is a criticalist veterinary that may also have to take time off of work so he and Tara can be by Chase's side during this journey to health.
