Hi, my name is Cindy, and I’m raising funds for my son, Ryan. He is currently attending Victory Baptist Bible College in South Carolina and is now in his third year. Though the journey has been filled with trials, Ryan remains steadfast in his desire to pursue his calling to serve Christ and others.

Earlier this year, in February, Ryan became ill. Despite numerous doctor visits, tests, and scans in South Carolina, the doctors have not been able to find a diagnosis. His illness has made it extremely difficult for him both physically and financially. This past summer, Ryan had to leave South Carolina and his job to come home for further medical evaluations. Our local doctors have since performed multiple procedures, biopsies, and tests, but they are still unsure of what’s causing his illness. They do know something physical is not right, and Ryan has more appointments and tests scheduled when he returns home for Christmas break.

Ryan has always been a hard worker and a young man of deep faith. Even through this uncertainty, he continues to trust God and believes he is exactly where God wants him to be. Despite his illness, Ryan started his own small detailing business so he could continue working while managing his health. Through God’s grace, he was able to earn enough this summer to pay off last year’s tuition, allowing him to begin his third year at Bible college.

Unfortunately, the medical bills continue to grow, and the financial strain has become overwhelming—especially as he’s had to take time off work to focus on his health. If you know Ryan, you know he’s not one to ask for help; he’s the one who’s always there to lend a hand when others need it. That’s why I’ve felt led to start this GoFundMe—to help relieve some of the financial burden and ensure Ryan can remain in Bible college while continuing his testing, treatment, and recovery.
