My name is Milani Cook. I am a 17 year old junior. Having lived in Japan when I was little and being passionate about International Business and Global Relations, I joined Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) this year at my school. In my first year, my partner and I, completed an almost 50-page business plan and made a presentation for our business. "Lively Lemons". We presented this plan Shark Tank Style at an FBLA competition for our district. We were successful and advanced to state. We placed 3rd at state and advanced to the national competion. This will be held in Chicago, IL in late June. I never thought I would accomplish this in my first year. The challenge is with rising cost of living, gas prices etc., my cost of competing at the National competition is $1600, which we just discovered about a week ago. I have a short window to pay that amount, or I will not be able to compete at the national level! So many of you have supported me and championed everything I have done all of my life.
