I Almost Forgot follows Amelia, a dedicated administrative assistant preparing to ask for the promotion she has earned. But on the very day she plans to speak up, a constant stream of workplace demands and last-minute requests pulls her further away from that moment. As the day unfolds, she is forced to confront the quiet weight of everything she carries and what it takes to finally claim her worth.

The film extends beyond any single workplace. It highlights the often unseen labor that keeps environments running and the individuals who make it all possible, yet are rarely acknowledged. The title, I Almost Forgot, reflects both the literal events of the day and the deeper truth that it is easy to lose sight of your own value and voice. I hope that viewers who see themselves in Amelia are reminded of their own worth, and that they also begin to recognize the “Amelias” in their own lives, taking a moment to truly see and appreciate them.

This project is especially meaningful to me as my first film as a writer and director, and I’m honored that it has been accepted into the Chelsea Film Festival Incubator program. The funds raised will go directly toward bringing this project to life, supporting our cast and crew, providing meals on set, securing essential equipment, and completing post-production.
