Hi everyone, let’s make a Birthday Wish for Crystal. This year, I am celebrating Crystal’s birthday in California with her! If you can keep a secret, I read her CaringBridge and I’d like to raise funds to help her with that cancer treatment by giving her access to the valuable wound healing service provided by Hyperbolic Chamber visits.
One of the things I see as I watch Crystal go thru her cancer experience is how blessed she is with an amazing circle of family and friends. I saw this over and over as people came out of the woodwork to offer love and support. This has emboldened me to ask if you want to go in on this gift with me?
I’ve found a place near her house that offers some packages. It’s called SoCal Hyperbaric Oxygen Center. I actually got them to give her a great CASH package deal…it’s MORE than 50% off, but still a bit pricy. For a package of 10 sessions Cash with the Mother’s Day Voucher and also with another discount because I played the “My sister has Cancer” card, it comes to $1,885.00
I am hoping to raise $2,000.00 for the treatment, and I need your help to get to my goal by the end of May. I chose two thousand dollars because it’s a good round number, and you know there are other things that will come up. For example, she’ll need a prescription medicine for her ears/sinuses to be able to get handle the treatment. They said she’ll need new cotton clothing - nothing that could have been overly soiled in the past. And gas to get there, and whatever. I just like the number, so if we fall short, me may still have enough to cover it.
Cancer took our father when Crystal was six years old, she has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars by holding HUGE Star studded Casino Nights for the American Cancer Society for years! She has walked the marathons, been a soap celebrity waitress, donated money, and still Cancer bit her in the butt! …the boobs? And I know it has touched the lives of so many important people in my life, and probably yours. She was working to help them all. I’m excited to give back to her now that she is in her fight.
No donation is too small – every dollar I raise helps. I think it is crazy that her wounds have to get infected and put her life at risk before the insurance will help. But that’s the policy. We can make a difference.
