♂️ Manchester to Liverpool Ultra — Fundraising for Activate
On Good Friday, 3 April 2026, I’ll be taking on an ultra‑distance run from Manchester to Liverpool. It’s a huge challenge, but I’m doing it for a cause that means a lot to me.
My brother attended Activate, a registered charity founded in 2005. Activate is a specialist independent provider offering personalised educational and vocational courses for young people aged 19–24 who have learning difficulties and disabilities and who also have an Education, Health and Care Plan. Their focus is on building the skills, confidence and real‑world experiences needed for an active, independent life in the local community.
I’ve seen first‑hand the difference Activate makes. The support, opportunities and sense of belonging they provide are life‑changing — not just for the young people who attend, but for their families too. That’s why I’m putting myself through the miles, the training, and the challenge of this ultra.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, you’ll be helping Activate continue their incredible work and support even more young people to thrive.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for supporting this journey.
