My dog Frankie is only three, and she’s already facing a possible diagnosis of kidney disease and/or a rare form of diabetes. These are things you wouldn’t expect to see in such a young dog. During her previous visit, she was given a urine test, an X-ray, and bloodwork. They found some concerns, and she was prescribed antibiotics as well as another medication. She’s also on prescription food. She goes back in two weeks to find out for sure whether the problem is kidney disease or diabetes. We have pet insurance, and it helps a little, but some things it will not cover. This was a little unexpected, and I normally am prepared for the worst, but I think everyone can agree times are hard right now. If anyone could help, it would be appreciated!
