Highcroft jumping in aid of Street Vet
Donation protected
Homelessness is a growing problem across the UK, with many of the people experiencing homelessness having a pet. In many circumstances, the pet was part of their life before they became homeless.
The bond between many homeless people and their pets is profound and the health and wellbeing of their companions is often a major priority for their owners. Life on the streets makes it difficult to access the fundamental vet care required to ensure the health and vitality these pets deserve.
StreetVet is a registered practice with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and has been established by a dedicated team of professional vets and veterinary nurses to bring that essential care to people experiencing homelessness and their pets across the UK. Together the StreetVet team takes their experience out of the consulting room and onto the streets of ever-expanding locations. Helping people and their pets living rough as well as those in temporary accommodation with the StreetVet Accredited Hostel Scheme, delivering the care and support required to ensure their combined wellbeing.
So, some of us are literally jumping out of our comfort zones and have decided to team up and do a Tandem SkyDive in aid of Street Vet.
We understand the cost of living has had an impact on everyone, but if you are able to support us in helping a small charity that goes over and beyond!
We are making the jump on Sunday 27th October 2024
Thank you in advance to anyone that supports us
