'Twas our first holiday in Allingtown

And the hallways were finally quiet and sound

Ava could finally breathe a sigh of relief

As the students were homeward bound

Ava held the fort this term

In our new business building

Keeping us in line with an iron fist

And no, she wasn't kidding

She has worked on contracts,

And hired new faculty

Looked into issues for us more deeper

No doubt Ava is a keeper!

The holidays have their special gifts,

But our year-round joy depends

On the helpful people that we work with,

Whom we call our colleagues and now Ava our friend.
