A few weeks ago Briana had a large kidney stone that led to a two day hospitalization and surgery. They took care of it, so they thought. Fast forward to early last week on Briana’s first night in Florida with her family, she was admitted to the hospital after a near 105° fever, plummeting vitals, and was diagnosed with sepsis due to a severe kidney and urinary tract infection. She’s currently on day 6 and now fighting pneumonia.

Uncertain of when/if she can fly home and also work again, this has got to be a lot of stress, especially as all this time off work is all unpaid time she’s had to utilize this calendar year handling all of Macys vast medical needs, including her second open heart surgery back in May.

When she does come home it sounds like she may be on oxygen and limited mobility. Briana is one of the most selfless people I know, any help would mean the world to their family. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts during Briana’s healing journey.
