Help My Dad Recover from a Stroke

My name is Alecia Lewis, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my father, Elvis Lewis, who is fighting to recover after experiencing a life-altering ischemic stroke on January 9th.

On that day, our world changed in an instant. My dad was rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke that affected the right side of his brain. Unfortunately, this caused significant damage to the left side of his body, leaving him unable to move or control it. For the past two weeks, he has been in the hospital, and though he has shown some signs of improvement, his journey is far from over.

The road ahead for my dad will be long and difficult. He will require 24-hour home care assistance to ensure his safety and well-being. Along with that, he will need physiotherapy at least three times a week to help him regain strength and mobility. As you can imagine, this kind of care is very costly, and the financial burden has been overwhelming for our family.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly toward funding his ongoing medical care and therapy. It will help provide him with the necessary support he needs to regain his independence and move forward in his recovery.
