A dear friend of ours, Marcus Garcia and his family have suffered a tragic loss of their mother, Melissa Lee Garcia on April 1, 2016, at the young age of just 42 years old. Melissa had a long and hard fought battle against cancer for three to four years, and unfortunately succumb to the disease. Although she was sick for many years, she never let it get the best of her, she remained positive and strong. Melissa did everything possible to not let it affect her daily life for her children, and she stayed incredibly stylish and beautiful through it all. She was a devoted mother, loved spending time with her family, laughing and living life. She leaves behind her beloved son Marcus, daughter Sadie, daughter Phoebe, and parents Ruth and William Garcia. She was also a beloved sister, and friend to many. After years of battling cancer, Melissa also had medical bills, household bills, funeral expenses, and her youngest daughter, Phoebe is just 14 years old in hopes for a future to go to college one day.
