My name is MaryAnn, and I am Mikey’s fiancée and the mother of our six-year-old son, Lorenzo.

I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Mikey and our family after he was critically injured when a drunk driver caused a collision that struck him while he was driving home from work on late Sunday evening, June 7th.

Mikey is currently in the Surgical ICU fighting for his recovery. He has suffered multiple skull and facial fractures, a traumatic brain injury, and brain bleeding. He remains on a ventilator and under sedation while doctors closely monitor his condition and work to stabilize him.

As we face the days, weeks, and months ahead, we know his recovery will be long and will require extensive medical care, surgeries, rehabilitation, and time away from work. This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden on our family so we can focus on what matters most right now: Mikey’s healing and recovery.

Funds raised will help cover medical expenses, future surgeries, rehabilitation and specialist care, lost income while Mikey is unable to work, childcare and support for our son Lorenzo, and travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses for family members who are helping care for and advocate for Mikey throughout his recovery. This includes support for his parents and sister, who have been by his side during this critical time.

Who Mikey Is

Mikey is an incredible father, devoted partner, loving son, and supportive brother. He has spent his life showing up for the people he loves and making others feel seen, valued, and supported.

For more than 10 years, he has been a dedicated member of the dance community, helping create opportunities for young dancers and opening doors into the professional industry. He has mentored, encouraged, and advocated for countless artists throughout their careers.

The overwhelming support we have received is a reflection of the impact Mikey has had on so many lives. He has always been there for others, and now we are asking for help as he begins the long road to recovery.
