Hyunjin's Veterinary Fund for Cooper

Our beloved friend Hyunjin needs our support to give her wonderful pup Cooper life-saving medical care.

15-year-old Cooper has been a very good girl all these years, with no health problems and the energy and spunk of a young puppy. In early July, she developed a dry cough that in August got much worse and required emergency hospitalization and expensive life-saving treatments. Cooper's hospital bills were significant, and she now requires extra follow-up veterinary care, plus costly daily medication. Cooper is responding beautifully to her emergency care, and has regained her youthful exuberance and energy, but needs ongoing treatment to stay well.

Hyunjin is a screenwriter in Los Angeles, and is out of work due to the writer’s strike that lasted 148 days! Some years ago, Hyunjin was severely injured in a hit and run car accident while walking home. Her recovery took a long time, cost all her savings, and led to long-term health issues that continue to affect her daily life. Since she was a puppy, Cooper has been Hyunjin's constant service companion, always by her side, and sleeping next to her every single night except during hospital stays.

This fund will help Hyunjin to pay Cooper's emergency hospital ICU bill, and allow Hyunjin to continue Cooper's ongoing care.
