Help Angel’s Family Recover After a Devastating House Fire

We are reaching out on behalf of Berkeley Suazo and Laura Sladek's sister Angel and her family (husband Austin, daughters Aria and Addy) as they face an unimaginable loss. On Thursday, October 30, Angel’s home was destroyed in a house fire. The damage is devastating—nearly everything inside was lost, including the girls’ clothing, personal belongings, and even their Halloween costumes that they were so excited for.

Thankfully, everyone made it out safely. However, more bad news is their homeowner's insurance had lapsed and the house was uninsured. The girls are heartbroken, trying to understand and cope with losing their home and so many things they cherished. They also had two kittens—only one survived—adding to their grief.

Right now, the family is starting from scratch. They need clothing, essentials, and eventually help rebuilding a sense of stability. We are asking for your support to help them begin again.
