Lucian is a once in a lifetime kind of friend. I’ve seen them give money, food, time— the LITERAL shirt off of their back— to anyone in need, for any reason. Their kindness, loyalty, and generosity are so deeply ingrained that I really don’t think they could turn it off if they tried.

After struggling with their uterus’ reign of terror their whole life, they are ready to declare independence and enjoy a life that is pain and uterus free.

On Jan 23, 2024, 10 days after their 30th birthday, they will undergo surgery for a laparoscopic hysterectomy. While this will ultimately serve to relieve their chronic pain and empower them to feel more at home in their body, in the short term, it will be a painful and difficult road to healing.

We all know how impossible it is to pay the bills these days, and being out of work for 6+ weeks while shouldering big medical expenses is not going to be easy.
