Hysterectomy Funds: Help Mads Yeeterus the Uterus

Hello! My name is Madison, I also go by Mads. I was FINALLY approved by a specialist at Johns Hopkins for the Hysterectomy I have been fighting to be medically deemed eligible for over a decade now. Unfortunately, the daunting medical costs will not be covered by fully by insurance due to my premiums/out-of-pocket expenses and I do not have enough PTO at my new job to take the minimum 4 weeks of recovery time off. Working from home is not an option with this employer and while I have been approved for a leave of absence for up to 6 weeks? It would be fully unpaid.

Any little bit will help, I can't physically wait another year to save up the extra funds necessary to take a month off from work and due to the myriad of medications and IUD I am on to manage my symptoms? The side effects have taken their toll and I'm reaching my breaking point. I was approved in May and she wanted to set me up end of June/beginning of July but I requested a few months in order to sort out finances and give work enough notice since this is still a relatively new job.

Any help you can offer or even sharing this? Is ever so appreciated
