On June 5th, my brother Seamus and I will be taking part in the HYROX Doubles event in New York in support of the incredible work carried out by the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (KBRT).

This cause is deeply personal to us. In January 2020, one of my closest friends, Pat, from our village in Ireland, passed away suddenly here in New York. During an unimaginably difficult time for his family and friends, KBRT provided enormous support in helping us bring Pat home to Ireland to be laid to rest with his loved ones.

The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust has helped countless families around the world by easing the financial and emotional burden of bringing loved ones home after tragic and unexpected loss. Their compassion and support provide real comfort during some of the darkest moments families can face.

We are hoping to raise funds and awareness for this truly amazing foundation through our HYROX challenge next month. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much and will help ensure KBRT can continue supporting families in the future when they need it most.

We will also be making a 600$ donation to a Mental Health Charity through Hyrox New York.

Mental illness is a major crisis affecting 1 in 8 people worldwide. Depression alone impacts over 280 million people, and every 40 seconds someone dies by suicide.
