Hi, my name is Eden and on 16th March I am taking part in a HYROX event in Glasgow all in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. This event is a mix of running and functional exercises; consisting of a 8km run split up between 8 functional workout stations.

This charity has a place in my heart as I sadly lost my granny to cancer when I was 17 and had a massive impact on our lives. My gran used to be a nurse which then inspired me to do my training, and I now work in oncology.

From working in oncology I see first hand the impact cancer has on patients and their families. I also see the impact and support MacMillan provide and would love to raise money and awareness to continue the support.
