Hyperthyroid Treatment for Senior Cat

Hi, my name is Rose and I am hoping to raise funds to cover my cat Manitou's radioiodine therapy for hyperthyroidism.

Manitou came to me many years ago as a starving, abused stray, and rapidly turned into one of my closest companions. He is now a senior, but his test results are all good except for his thyroid.

His only option to reverse the impact of an overactive thryoid is the radiation therapy; he is not a candidate for medication. The treatment is expected to be a success, and he went to Kitty Healing Camp today (the positive spin I put on his having to stay one or more nights away from home).

However, my own health issues and other unexpected costs unfortunately have tapped out my finances, so I am going outside my comfort zone and asking for help for my beloved Manitou. Funds raised will be used to cover the expenses of the treatment and subsequent followup visits for testing to ensure that it worked.
