At 7am on the 18th August, my gorgeous little Milo lost all use of his back legs. IVDD is common in sausage dogs, but I never ever expected it to happen to my strong, fit and happy Milo. He has had the initial surgery which went well, but that is just the start. Milo will now undergo months of recovery work to get him walking again. Unfortunately Milo’s insurance only covers him for half of what the surgery costs, never mind the upcoming cost of Physio, Hydrotherapy and medications.
