Hi, my name is Frances, and I’m the founder of Coamo Dreams Distribution DBA Vegan Wines. I never thought I’d be making a GoFundMe, but I’m at a point where I truly need help.
I’ve spent years pouring my heart and soul into my small business. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s something I deeply believe in. I recently went through a long legal battle to protect what I built — and I actually won. The court entered a judgment in my favor, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like I was finally close to closure.
But right as I reached that point, something completely unexpected happened. My attorney lost his ability to practice, and I was suddenly left without representation right in the middle of the post-judgment process.
Because my business is an LLC, I’m not allowed to go forward by myself — even though I’m the only owner and the only person behind it. I legally need an attorney to finish this process, enforce the judgment, and protect my company. Without one, I’m stuck, and everything I fought for is hanging in the balance.
I’ve reached out to so many lawyers, but most won’t take a case that’s already this far along, and the retainers I’ve been quoted are more than I can afford right now. I’m currently unemployed, and I’m trying to stand up to a large corporation with resources I simply don’t have.
