Hi my name is Barvara April Hernandez. On January 22nd, 2024 my home flooded because of the storm. I was able to get out through my bedroom window with my 2 year old daughter. We climbed on to the roof and jumped down to a car..luckily there was a door floating around and I was able to get my daughter through the waist deep flood water. A man saw us and thankfully helped us & took us into his home. I’m now struggling to gather my thoughts, but trying to keep it all together and remain strong for my daughter. My home is destroyed, my car is flooded, all of our belongings are destroyed.. If anyone could please help me & my daughter Cielo I’d greatly appreciate it.
