Hello, my name is Rhoda, a former nurse in the mountains of Haiti and I am reaching out because my heart is so saddened about Haiti, that is so broken and ruined recently. Not only are the people reeling politically after the assassination of their president, but an earthquake just hit the Jeremie and Les Cayes areas, followed by a Hurricane a few days after. Friends are already giving aid in the area, but I just spoke with Eunide from JAPI mission who is planning a trip down to Haiti again and needs all donations accompanying the campaign by September 15. We plan to make as many hygiene kits as possible to help keep survivors clean while homes are rebuilt, and injuries are healed. Each kit will cost around $20, including shipping.
