For the past few years, my brother has been living with a rare blood disorder called "porphyria."  You can research it for yourself and see how debilitating it can be.  Unfortunately, my brother has a severe form of this disorder which has grown physically and emotionally debilitating, to the extent of not being able to work and provide for his family.  His loving wife makes what she can by being a hair stylist/doterra distributor but that does not make ends meet.  With all of their recent struggles the engine in the van they drive had catastrophic engine failure.  There are a few options that they have 1.  They can find a used engine/parts and have it replaced 2. Junk it in hopes of getting some money for it and getting a more reliable vehicle.  Apparently the 2006 Honda Odyssey (only some) has had some issues with having a porous engine block (research it) and the mechanic is telling them that more than likely that is the issue.  The worst part is that they still owe $6000 on the car and having to put another few thousand into it makes the situation worse.  They are here celebrating the holidays with us and yet in their minds they are thinking "How are we going to pay for this?"  I would love for my brother and his family to not have to worry about this and to be able to send him home back to Arizona with good news.

The money will be used to either buy a replacement engine for his 2006 Honda Odyssey or buy a newer vehicle.   They are leaving back to Arizona within a weeks’ time but whatever can be raised would go towards helping a great family who just needs a little help.  Thanks!
