NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONS!! The Hyde Park Cowboys D Team won the New England Championship on Saturday November 28th. Going UNDEFEATED all year long with a record of 13-0!! These boys have played outstanding football all year long and have now qualified to play in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in ORLANDO, FL!!
The Hyde Park Cowboys had a great year all around with all of our teams making the playoffs and 3 of our teams winning the Hockomock Championship! Congratulations to all our players and coaches for a great year, but for our D Team it's not over yet!! The team will be leaving on Thursday to drive to Orlando to participate in the 59th Pop Warner Super Bowl at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney!
This is where we need your help. We have very little time to fundraise for this national event. Our program needs to raise money to help with the cost of this trip. At over $1,100 per child we need your help. This will be a wonderful experience for all the children. The team has been practicing since Aug 1st and they have earned everything they have acomplished so far!
Please help us send these boys down to represent New England as well as they have represented Hyde Park and the City of Boston! They've earned it, they deserve to go, let's not fail them, we CANNOT fail them! What we are asking for here is just a fraction of what we will need. We are working hard with local businesses, community leaders and friends to help raise these funds
Many of you know the sadness that the Hyde Park Cowboys community had to endure this season, but we know Junior is smiling down on these boys for what they've accomplished, because playing in the National Championship was his dream.
