My name is Bur Shilling. I founded and directed the teen music group, Children of the Light, in Findlay, Ohio, for 31 years. During most of those years Mr. Stan Morse arranged and taught his arrangements to each annual group.

Stan became a professional musician at the age of 17 when he was runner up in the national talent contest sponsored by famed band leader, Horace Heidt. After the contest he traveled America playing tombone and was asked to join the Duke Ellington Band.

Stan left the glamour of professional music and turned his talents to arranging and teaching in high schools and churches. Our professional relationship as arranger/trainer and director lasted 29 years. Our friendship will last forever.

Recently Stan has been stuggling with some memory issues. A family member got him into a memory study at a well-known Ohio hospital. Unfortunately after all the tests and interviews he received a bill for $6000. Stan cannot pay this bill. The bill has been turned over to a collection agency.

Stan needs our assistance in paying this bill. He has invested himself into young people and music ministry his entire professional life with very little muneration. We must help Stan pay this bill so he can enjoy the remaining years of his life without financial burden.
