I am raising funds for Tracey B. of Monterey, CA. Tracey lived in subsidized housing for over 25 years due to disabilities. On March 9, 2026, at 4 a.m., the apartment house burned to the ground. Tracey got out with her phone. Not even the charger. We need to replace her clothing, shoes, furniture, kitchen gear, TV, stereo, personal care items, and all the other things one needs to live.
Look around your house and notice all the little things: the pictures on the walls, the books, notebooks, writing materials, photos, albums, and more.
We thank you for your generosity on behalf of Tracey, who is still in the hospital due to severe smoke inhalation when she escaped the building from the second floor. Note that she has no clothing left to even leave the hospital.
We estimate at least $15,000 to replace all.
