Hyatts of Maui Colleague Support

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THIS SITE ARE FOR HYATT COLLEAGUES AFFECTED BY WILDFIRES IN THE ISLAND OF MAUI IN HAWAII. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS CAMPAIGN PUBLICLY.

On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, a series of devastating wildfires spread through various areas on the island of Maui, damaging structures, forcing mass evacuations, prompting emergency rescues. In its wake, residents of Maui have experienced home damage and devastation.

Many of our colleagues at Hyatt Regency Maui and other Hyatt properties in Maui have been directly impacted and experienced home damage as a result of the wildfires in Maui. We are still conducting welfare checks on over 1,100 Hyatt colleagues in the affected areas of Maui and will provide updates once available.

To help our Hyatt colleagues that have been impacted by the wildfires in Maui recover, we invite you to utilize our fundraising campaign on this page. Hyatt will match each $1 USD contributed to this campaign, up to $100,000 USD.

Funds raised with this campaign will be distributed directly to the properties’ local human resources team to be dispersed to impacted colleagues. Your contribution will help bring relief and hope to those colleagues affected by wildfires in Maui.

Any excess funds raised through this campaign will be used for future humanitarian crises or disaster relief efforts that impact the Hyatt family.

The Hyatt family’s thoughts are with all our Hyatt colleagues who have been impacted by wildfires in Maui.
