Ever since I can remember, I struggled to feel at home in my body. I’ve always been uncomfortable having my photo taken. Dysphoria grips me and takes me out of joyous moments with friends and family.

For years, now, I have considered Facial Feminization Surgery, but have been fearful due to various medical traumas and logistics. Which brings us to this moment.

I have never been more excited for a procedure. It will be hard and expensive, but increasingly I feel it is full of potential. Both for my survival and to create greater ease within my body.

Facial feminization surgery is hard and expensive - it will take multiple procedures. Despite this, I am energized. Eager.

Any funds raised beyond the need for this will go to helping with after care costs, and the remainder after that will go to local mutual aid groups.

Thank you for aiding me in what, for so long, has felt impossible and unapproachable. I am grateful to be in community with you, to know the power we have when we take care of one another.
