Care for Karen

On Monday, May 29th, my mother, Karen Worstell, suffered a major stroke at only 43 years of age due to a massive blockage in the left side of her brain. She is currently in intensive care at OSU medical center after being life-flighted in for emergency surgery to remove the blockage. She is making progress, but has a long, long road to recovery ahead.
While our family does have insurance, we are still facing a substantial financial challenge in the form of co-pays and a significantly-large deductible. On top of costs for emergency transportation, emergency neurosurgery and diagnostic testing are those for the coming months of physical and speech therapy that Karen will undergo in order to regain the cognitive and verbal functionalities she lost to the stroke.
Karen is an amazing mother and wife and her entire family is behind her in this battle. She has a fantastic support system, and we would greatly appreciate you being a part of it.
