This is my grandson Ashden Larson. He was born with laryngomalasia and spent first 10 days in neonatal intensive care. It is floppy larynx and affects his breathing. He went home for a couple weeks and has now been in Peds ICU for a month now.
He has had surgery on his larynx a week ago and yesterday a surgery for reflux. He is intubated at the moment while they let his throat heal. He may require a trach before he can go home. This has been very trying on the family, mom has not been able to work. She has been by his side most of the time except for transporting her other 3 kids back and forth to school and to different family members to watch. Dad works out of town through the week home on weekends. I was just hoping to help take some financial pressure off of them in this trying time.
