Support Rodney's Family in Their Time of Loss

Hello everyone,

It is with a heavy heart to tell you that we have lost someone we cherish. Someone who is a husband, a son, a brother, and a friend. He was a joyful person who always brought laughter anywhere he went. Rodney had deep compassion for others, and did not hesitate to treat everyone as a friend.

We lost Rodney due to complications from Diabetes. He had an episode of Diabetic Ketoacidosis which led to multiple cardiac arrests during his stay at the ICU. Rodney fought long and hard to maintain a stable status and to get better. Unfortunately, after his third cardiac arrest, Rodney went into a coma. He was still responsive to external stimuli, which led us to believe that there was still hope for him to recover. Although there was some progress in his condition, Rodney was not able to make it. After a long battle, he finally succumbed and went home to the Kingdom of God on February 28, 2025. Losing Rodney has caused a deep scar in the hearts of both his family and friends.

This loss was made even more bitter since he just got married very recently. Rodney and his wife’s celebration of their union was cut short when he was taken to the hospital a week after their wedding. What could have been a time filled with planning and looking forward to their future has now been replaced with mourning.

We are seeking help to raise money that would cover some of the medical and funeral costs of our dear friend. We appreciate any amount to be given.
