Tianna Zambrano NICU Baby Fund

Hi,

I'm Dr. Joan Wilson, and I'm fundraising for Tianna Zambrano and her newborn twins. Tianna was one of our top graduate students in the NMSU Communication Disorders master's degree program. Despite being pregnant with twins in her final year, she successfully completed the program, graduated in early May, and was chosen to receive our Outstanding Graduate Scholar award.

Tianna delivered her twins prematurely on May 30, 2022. Her little girl weighed 5 lbs. and was released. However, her little boy only weighed 3 lbs. and was immediately taken to UNM Hospital before Tianna was even able to see him. As of June 8 she had still not seen him in person. The earliest he will be released is July 7, so Tianna is planning to go to Albuquerque for at least a month to allow her to see him as he works to get stronger. There are considerable expenses involved with staying in Albuquerque - housing, food, travel, etc., not to mention that she is also caring for her little newborn daughter!

Money donated to this fund will go directly to Tianna to help ease financial pressures during this stressful time. Any amount is welcome!
