Help the Grawe Family

Donation protected
For those of you who do not know, our fearless class of 2000 Snow Leopard Brandi (Preston) Grawe gave birth to twin boys, Isaac and Alexander in June 2015.  Isaac was born with a condition known as Tracheoesophageal Fistula/Esophageal Atresia. He had his first surgery at 2 days old and another at 3 months old. Despite the fact that these surgeries were deemed a success, he still suffers from severe Tracheomalacia (floppy airway), which has made it difficult for him to feed by mouth and breathe when sick. This winter, Isaac was hospitalized 3 times due to upper respiratory infections and is scheduled for a third surgery at the end of March in Cincinnati. The goal of this operation is to alleviate the pressure placed on his trachea by his aorta, and as a result, allow him to breathe more easily and feed successfully by mouth.

As you can see, it hasn't been an easy year for the Grawe family.  While they love their new life as parents, it has been emotionally and financially challenging to split time between both boys, at home and in the hospital.

As a friend to both Brandi and Eric I know they would do anything for any of their friends or family. It is because of this reason, that I ask our strong and supportive Class of 2000 to rally behind them and show our love to help them through this difficult time.  Although they have not asked for any help, I know that the Grawe family greatly appreciates your willingness to say a prayer for Isaac or to make a donation, which will be put toward Isaac’s medical expenses.

Thank you in advance for your support :0)
