Hello. My name is Derrick. Julianna is our daughter. She is 14 years old now and has been battling brain stem cancer for the past 3 years. She also had cancer on top of her brain that was removed called p.n.e.t. She was born autistic and is absolutely the sweetest girl you could ever know. She loves everyone she meets. She is also the bravest little girl too. What she’s been through is heartbreaking. After her first surgery she lost the use of her legs and has been bed ridden since. Last week was her annual mri and it is with great sorrow that we learned she is now loosing the battle she fought so hard for. They told us to take her home and make her comfortable and have hospice take over. We don’t know exactly how long our little angel will be with us but we will probably loose her before the year is over. It all seems like a bad dream to us. Our son who is also autistic is taking it very hard. We don’t have enough money for a funeral when the time comes. I lost my job when Covid started and still do some work from home for some of my old customers but it just about pays the bills. I want to be home as much as I can now to be with her too. Im 57 and suffer from many back and neck injuries but I do not collect disability. I still can lift my angel for changing and baths and I still can earn some income. Thank you for taking the time to read all this and may God bless all the sick children in the world.
