My daughter's husband, Zachary, was brake-checked on Wednesday, causing a severe motorcycle accident. He sustained major spine injuries and had to undergo surgery to repair the damage the best they could. Unfortunately, the healing process will take a long time, and he is not going to be able to work for quite a while. His wife, Kristina, has been by his side every day and is not going to be able to work until he has healed enough to manage a bit of self-care, which could take a while. In the meantime, mortgage and bills won't pay themselves, and they could really use some financial help.
The amount requested will help them get by for a couple of months while they figure things out.
