Claire's Birthday Bake Off

In honor of Claire's 27th birthday, we are raising funds for Safe Hands Animal Rescue.

A bit about Claire-

Claire was a beautiful, once in a lifetime kind of soul. She was a friend to me and many, but she was also so much more.

She was an animal lover, a talented circus performer, a creative cook and baker, and a daughter to two of the kindest people I know.

Claire was the kind of person that felt like home.

One of my favorite memories of Claire and I was when we were 17- we were just coming home from a party and wanted to stay up just a little bit longer to eat some cookies we had made earlier in the day. It was one of those moments that seemed to insignificant, but felt much bigger for some reason. Claire and I had known each other since we were 8 years old, and I think in that moment, we felt like little kids again. Talking, laughing so hard we cried, and eating cookies before going to sleep. Now 17, we were growing up and life was starting to get harder, but together, in little moments like that, we got to hold on to that safety and warmth of our childhoods. Our friendship was a time capsule of shared memories, lots of laughter, love, and sweetness.

Claire passed away in 2019, and not a day goes by where I don’t think about her, and miss laughing and sharing life with her. Although she isn’t physically here, I feel her energy wherever I go, and I know she’d be excited to see all your amazing baking creations that will help raise money for little furry friends in need for the fourth year in a row!
