You've probably stood with Cody on a picket line or even experienced her support on your workplace campaign. Maybe she's cooked for you at a DSA meeting. She also regularly coordinates strike support and shows up tirelessly for her comrades.
Cody is also a working mom (one of the best moms, in my opinion) to everyone's favorite little socialist, Rosie.
Recently, Cody was fired unfairly from her job because of her attempts to organize for a better workplace. While out of work for a little over 3 months, both of our family cars had to go into the shop, totaling $4,600, and our home roof is in such bad shape it has to be fixed now or there will be long-term impacts that we will not be able to afford. The roof work was started before Cody lost her job and totals $2,600.
Cody lives fully into her values and principles, and not only talks but walks solidarity. A new world is possible, and it's because of organizers like Cody.
Now Cody, and our family need your help to make it through a rough financial time. Between a loss in family income, unexpected car issues, and roof repairs, Cody and our family are underwater and need help. We are hoping to raise $7,200 to cover these costs. Anything you can give or do, like sharing this, is much appreciated.
