My brother, Rob Thompson, has departed from this world. The devoted father of my two precious nephews, Ethan (10) and Harrison (3) struggled with bipolar disorder and ended his life on April 30th. He leaves behind Kerrie West, his partner of 12+ years, and their 2 boys, me (a sister), Jon Thompson (a brother), and both of our parents. While we will struggle with his decision for a long time, we are also left with the struggle to find the money for his final expenses. We are asking our friends and family, as well as his friends to help in any way possible. He spoke of cremation as a practical and inexpensive alternative and we will honor that request (which is not INexpensive if you've not had the misfortune to know). Any funds we receive will go directly to the funeral home and cover the cost of a headstone (we plan to bury his ashes in our family cemetery near Greenwood, Arkansas).
