Support Our Essex Fells Neighbor After Devasting Fire

On October 23rd, Bruce Conaway, a recent addition to our Essex Fells community, returned home to find his house engulfed in flames. Despite the heroic efforts of the Essex Fells Fire Department and others, Bruce tragically lost many of his possessions, leaving him without clothing, shoes, and the personal items that made his new home feel his own.

In true Essex Fells spirit, the PTA Board is reaching out to rally support for Bruce during this challenging time. Let’s show him the strength of our community by coming together to help him rebuild. Funds raised will go directly toward gift cards for essentials, including clothing from retailers like Macy’s and Jos. A. Bank, as well as food and other necessities, to ease his immediate burden.

While insurance will eventually cover much of his loss, these funds are not immediate. Together, we can show Bruce what it means to be part of Essex Fells. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you for your support and generosity!
