Pickles road to recovery

For those who don’t know me, my name is Haley. I’m Shawn kelly “pickle’s” cousin.

On bar close on Saturday night, Shawn and a friend were leaving a bar in Minneapolis when he was assaulted. He was punched in the back of the head, fell forward and hit his head.

The single punch, fractured his skull and the fall caused a brain bleed.

Shawn has been at HCMC being treated and today was extubated.

The doctors keep saying this is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. So he will be facing a long road to recovery, which will result in missed time from work.

We started this GoFundMe to help raise money for all of the expenses, rent, car payment, and ICU medical bills etc that he will face during his recovery.

Anything helps, and We will continue to update on Shawn’s recovery, but at this time we appreciate the privacy as his family is navigate this experience.
