Ellie is one year old. She’s such an energetic and loving cat!
She was playing on the balcony and accidentally fell off. My friend and I found her crying in pain. She fell 4 flights and as a result, broke her pelvis. The bone went right through her skin causing a hole. In addition, she bruised her liver when she hit the cement. We recently found out that she has severe nerve damage and will likely need her right leg amputated.
She needs surgery that will cost over $5,000 CAD in addition to the fees for the emergency vet visit.
TOTAL expected costs:
- $870.00 - first vet visit
- $4,600- first surgery to fix the damage in her pelvis.
- $3,450- second surgery to amputate if necessary
- additional fees for therapy and medication following surgery.

All of your donations will be going towards providing Ellie with a chance of keeping her leg!! The surgery entails fixing the broken pelvis, while allowing Ellie recovery time to hopefully regain feeling in the leg!.. if the leg continues to not be responsive, it will need to be amputated.
Your donations will at least allow us to give her the time she needs to hopefully keep the leg!
