Hello Family and Friends,

Our beautiful daughter Sofia was diagnosed with Accommodative Esotropia and Non Accomadative Esotropia when she was only 7 months old. A condition that affects her vision and the way she sees the world. She has been wearing glasses for over 2 years. We have been actively taking her to the Pediatric Opthamologist and were hopeful she would not have to undergo surgery. After many attempts to increase her prescription, we were given some very tough news. At her most recent appointment we were told that she needs Double Eye Surgery. For any parent, the news of your child needing surgery is a very terrifying feeling. This is a very scary time for us as a family. A lot of unknowns. Our insurance will cover a portion but we will have alot of unknown out of pocket expenses. Sofia will be going to CHOC for her Double Eye Surgery and are confident these doctors are the best at what they do. Anything you can donate to help us through this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
