Imagine feeling worthless because you have H.I.V, and you were born in a society that abandoned you because of it. Where would your hope come from? This is what drives our mission. Children who had nothing to do with their dire situation but who have to live and suffer with H.I.V often in isolation.

Champions for Life is a psycho-social support program for teenagers living with H.I.V. based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Growing up with H.I.V is challenging. The stigma, hurt and rejection associated  with H.I.V crushes the children's hearts. H.I.V erases their self-esteem, making them feel unloved and unwanted.

Champions empowers young people to face their giants and it accepts them as they are. Champions shows the children love by teaching them they are valuable and have a purpose in life. This program brings back a smile to faces of thousands of children. In the past 8 years, Champions has reached over 15,000 children in Southern and East Africa - changing lives, transforming communities.

In the next 12 months we aim to do 20 programs across 9 cities in 6 nations.  Help and equip H.I.V orphans in Africa to feel love and have a future.  Every event equips the children with life-skill tools and with vocational training opportunities. Champions also provides basic food and medical assistance to highly vulnerable children. Champions for Life has a platform which assists children with tuition fees. US$10 allows us to reach 1 H.IV orphan. Children within the Champions program have a stronger aptitude for life, take  their medications on time and have healthy relationships.
