Cory’s Family
Donation protected
Those of you who know Cory Maas know that he is a loyal, fiercely hardworking, incredibly supportive husband and father.
Those of you who know his wife Cheri Maas know that she shares his strong qualities and values. Many of you also know that, as they approached the 10 year anniversary of their business, Divine Reflections Salon, they heavy-heartedly had to make the decision to close permanently after the economic crisis brought on by Covid-19.
Cory has just been in a horrifying accident that has left him suffering very serious and dangerous injuries. He is in Santa Rosa, under the care of ICU professionals. At this time, it is confirmed that he has 6 broken ribs, bruised lungs and a fractured neck. He is far from his family, who is unable to stay by his side, because this is all happening during a pandemic.
A neurosurgeon is on standby, in the event that further severity of Cory’s condition is discovered.
Cheri, who has lost her business and is homeschooling their two precious, young sons, are now without Cory as they wait in agony. With Cory now unable to continue working, on top of the enormous medical costs that are now accumulating, their family is facing another financial crisis.
The road to recovery will be long and slow. I ask for your prayers and love, and support in any way that is possible. Sharing this post is support. Monetary donations are support, and will help carry this incredible family through this nightmare. There are many ways to support this family as they face this.
I have great confidence in our amazing coastal community, that the kindness we so often see within it will help this family. This is a chance to give this family what they give everyone in their lives: unwavering support, generosity, and love.
